I South Ural State University is a “SMART university which unites Europe and Asia- nowadays this is the way the university’s motto sounds. Being located in the heart of the Southern Ural, SUSU became the foundation of positive changes which take place in the region: development of powerful industry, preservation of unique environment, creation of a multicultural and multinational environment which favors new discoveries and development of international collaboration.
I In October 2015, the South Ural State University was included into the number of higher educational institutions of Russia, selected to participate in Project 5-100, which is to maximize the competitive position of a group of leading Russian universities on the global market for educational services and research programs. The strategic goal of SUSU in the Project 5-100 is to form a research and entrepreneurial University of the world level aimed at achieving a position as a global leader in the supercomputing field, engineering, natural Sciences & Medical Sciences. This goal involves getting a place in the Top 100 for main international rankings (THE or QS), as well as in subject rankings in Medical Sciences, computer science, aerospace engineering & materials science. THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE OF SOUTH URAL STATE UNIVERSITY
I The Faculty of Medicine of South Ural State University was established in July 1979 to meet the need of medical education in Mekong Delta. With the desire to constitute and elevate the medical sciences & healthcare system in Mekong area, the Faculty of Medicine has imposed the forefront of health education which enabled the optimism of the healthcare innovation in the region. Initially, when there were not enough lecturers, the subjects of basic sciences were taught by lecturers of South Ural State University for the first batch of undergraduate medical students. From 1979 to 1984, the theoretical subjects of medical syllabus were mainly accomplished by the lecturers attained periodically from Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy
